Discover what we mean by ‘People of the Book.’ Having one library is good. Having two libraries is better. At Temple Israel we have two libraries on site: the Weinberg Family Library and the Hodari Family Children's Library & Media Center.

The Weinberg Family Library houses a collection of over 10,000 volumes on Jewish theology, history, philosophy, Jewish life, Israeli studies, art, music, language and literature. This comprehensive collection includes classic and contemporary adult fiction from American, European and Israeli authors.  We have a large film collection as well.

For our younger members, The Hodari Family Children's Library and Media Center holds over 5,000 books, CDs, DVDs, puzzles and games of Jewish content for children of all ages, from preschool to high school, and provides students with access to the internet and a vast array of Hebrew and Judaic software programs.
